Microsoft has announced that Kinect will retail at £129.99 in the UK.

The upcoming device will retail for £129.99/€149.99 and will be bundled with launch title Kinect Adventures. The US price has now been confirmed as $149.99

More than 15 titles will be available at launch, including Kinectimals, Kinect Sports and Kinect Joy Ride, each to retail at £39.99.

Microsoft also revealed that a new Xbox 360 4GB model, will launch in the UK on 20th August, priced at £149.99/€199.99/$199.99. There will be a Kinect Bundle of the Xbox 360 4GB plus the Kinect sensor and Kinect Adventures for £249.99/€299.99/$299.99 when Kinect launches in the UK this November.

As detailed on the game's official website, players will assume the role of a new lead character, Hawke, a survivor of the Blight and a refugee who "rises to power to become the single most important character in the world of Dragon Age." 

"Dragon Age 2 will simultaneously deliver an epic story and set a new bar for intense action in the genre. We're very excited to deliver this next bold evolution in the Dragon Age franchise to our fans," said Dr. Ray Muzyka, co-founder of BioWare. 

Dragon Age 2 is also getting updated graphics and a revamped combat system. Here's a small snippet of the plot:

it would seem that UK retailer GAME has unleashed the box art for the latest title upon the world.

Within, we see artwork similar to that previously shown on the teaser site when the title was first announced. Kratos stands beside a pool of blood, a reflection of him from his youth peering back from its murky depthsGod of War: Ghost of Sparta follows the events of the original God of War title, with Kratos ascending to Olympus.

Hulu the online streaming television service finally announced their paid program and with that announced what the Xbox 360 and PS3 service will include. The Hulu Plus service will cost $10 a month and will allow you to watch Hulu on multiple devices including internet enabled televisions, iPads, blu-ray devices and of course your home consoles. From everything that has been reported the Hulu service on consoles will work much like Netflix streaming, you will have to pay for the consoles online service and Hulu Plus.As nice as it sounds you still have to pay $50 for both the XBL and PSN+ service and the $10 a month for Hulu Plus; add an extra $8 a month to it if you already have Netflix. That’s a lot of money if want to have both Netflix and Hulu. If you can’t wait to check out the new service on your console you can visit Hulu.com to sign up to be a part of the preview program.

Last week Sony announced that Marvel characters would be making their way onto Little Big Planet. Judging from the silhouette image shown there will be around 20 Marvel characters transformed into sackboys and sackgirls. This week Marvel.com has been releasing images of what appears to be the first set of characters available for download on July 6. The first 4 characters revealed include Iron Man, Daredevil, The Thing and Mystique.

 The recently revealed Xbox LIVE Family Pack has been confirmed for release in Europe, along with the announcement of an official recommended retail price (RRP). Allowing Xbox 360 gamers to bring their family to the online party with four Xbox LIVE Gold Subscriptions included in the package, the Xbox LIVE Family Pack is undoubtedly targeted at those interested in purchasing Microsoft’s forthcoming Kinect full-body motion control system.
            Revealed yesterday, the Xbox LIVE Family Pack allows for up to four users to upgrade their Xbox LIVE account to a Gold Membership a well as offering access to the forthcoming Family Centre, a unique dashboard hub through which gamers can tweak the content controls on the console, allowing only specific GamerTags to access age-restricted content. Further to this, the Family Centre will allow for all purchases and billing to be authorised by the primary Xbox LIVE account only, and for the owner of this account to distribute Microsoft Points to other accounts as is deemed necessary.
            The Xbox LIVE Family Pack is expected to arrive later this year, most likely alongside the forthcoming Kinect device. The Family Centre is most likely to arrive with the Xbox 360’s ‘fall update’, which typically arrives in November. The Xbox LIVE Family Pack will be available with an RRP of £69.99 about 80 euro
