                                                                                                             History in the making

To know the History of the website first let me  tell you about a few years ago.

The mid 2006 were a confusing time for our nation. Being politically correct was envogue,   One  student a gamer needed a job.Realizing that their grades would no doubt keep them out of getting a good stable job  .Rob Gabriel began to explore other ideas. A light Bulb went off, with a lot of go-daddy names being bought in the start up. Rob Gabriel started to learn coding for websites and build servers. The dream start grow into a more likely job for the future .

But with website names hard to find, that are still for sale. After mii360.com failed because of lots of reasons, one being it was around the time xbox avatars where shown for the first time. Also the fact the website had no catch, something to bring people back.Rob was over the moon when his friend Gerrard thought of the name digiygamer.com.So Rob started to re write the website coding again. But are story of dreams does not end here,it is only begining.

Gustavo Sorola, fleeing from his stunning failures at Rice University, met Geoff Fink, a man who was simply too dumb for College. They embraced their low paying tech jobs, falling in love with the primary colors and blinking text of the internet. A kinship was formed, and the pair became fast friends, often playing video games till all hours of the morning while sharing their feelings and desires. Pillow fights were had, toenails were painted, and much alcohol consumed. It was heaven on earth.

So Rob after reworking the website, moving block and kicking sticks.Rob and his other friend Tadhg Foley (Yes Rob has more then one friend) Any way they where talking over skype and started to try and start a podcast.Let me put this quick it lasted three weeks. It just was not working out for this young man called Rob Gabriel. So He took a year break to get his life in order.

So Digiygamer.com is getting to launch on July 3rd 2010,Rob needed a idea ,lucky for him his sister (name not given),Is a talented artist .Rob walked up to her one cold stormy October night and asked her if she would draw him a few cartoon versions of himself ,She smiled saying yes in a kind gentle way.So as Rob spent weeks moving her drawings from a notepad to the computer ,where he drew and rendered the drawings and used photo edit tools to change the image in ways to make it look different.A plan was coming together.

Digiygamer  grew a very small following , Rob added more people to the website,So it was Rob Gabriel, Tadgh foley,Ger(last name unknown) and one hippy looking Padraig Murphy.. Not a lot is known about how Padraig actually became a part of the group, but one can assume it had a lot to do with Fear. A few other staffers were added, but they all died playing world of war craft . It was sad.

Rob started adding weekly gameplay videos. No one watched them, but he refused to stop. One day while making a video showing how great he thought he was at Skate 3 was ,He used the audio to put up one of the cartoon reviews he was working on the last few weeks.

As the site grows so will the love for the video games that has stopped thisi young man from becoming the nerd he was going to be
