Army of Two
Army of Two revolves around a private organization that contracts elite soldiers to seamlessly carry out dangerous missions in exchange for cash. The two main characters are Rios and Salem; two soldiers who were once part of the military but once they heard about the pay increase at SSC they decided that the cause of war wasn't worth dying for.
From there they meet a lot of different contacts that help and aid them on their missions in various ways, as well as a few suspicious individuals who may have a hidden agenda in mind. Throughout the game you end up traveling from location to location wherever you're needed to fight. Some of the missions are controversial, but you're in it for the money. There is also a source working on the inside that is giving out vital information so as the game progresses you're really not sure who to trust anymore giving an interesting dynamic to the storyline.
More Information
The PS3 and Xbox 360 version of Army of Two is one of the first games for the console which will be region-locked for online play. EA claims that the region-locking is to prevent network lag caused by players from multiple regions, and to prevent the Asian region console owners from playing the US and European version of the game, as the Asian version has been censored to meet certain requirements (notably, the shooting of already dead bodies in the game)
On October 23th, 2008, Variety magazine reported that Universal Pictures had picked up movie rights to game, citing Universal's desire to "fast-track the project to begin production in 2009", hiring writers of The Bourne Ultimatum, Scott Z. Burns and Tony Gilroy to write the script and Peter Berg to direct.
